Buffalo Annie Updates

My second book is already making headway! It will detail my experiences during a
falconry related adventure where I’m bringing a myriad of passions for wildlife and
the outdoors to a whole new level! My trip entails following the Kazakh hunters on
horseback in the remote and rugged Altai Mountains of western Mongolia while in
pursuit of fox and rabbit. The Kazakhs continue to follow their traditional ways as
they did in ancient times, hunting for sustenance using trained wild golden eagles to
subdue their prey. The golden eagle is the largest and most powerful of all raptor
species. Hunting of furbearing game is done only in winter when pelts are of best
quality. This is a wonderful opportunity to witness an ancient tradition in modern
times, where many of us have all but forgotten the bonds we once shared with
wildlife due to our current fast-paced and technologically advancing society.
